On August 16th and 20th, the Faculty of Foreign languages (FFL) organized The 2018 Orientation day for first- year students of K14. This activity is held annually in order to help newbies know more about the university and faculty they are studying. The event was attended by Dean and Vice Dean representatives, lecturers and students of FFL.
On behalf of the faculty, Mrs Hoang Le Thi Tuyet- Dean of FFL extended her congratulation to all freshmen and expected that they will get all the information they concern during the event. She additionally confirmed that FFL is not only a place to share knowledge but also a chance for students to meet and connect with others to build up a future career development. She wished all the newbies to study hard to satisfy their families, friends and teachers and believed that the university could be proud of them on their way to affirm themselves in the future.
The event also included discussions that guided students how to complete their study programme, how to work with offices, faculties, institutes, CIT center, library center, services and unions of IUH. Besides, they also met with employers discuss what they should prepare for their future jobs.
The 2018 Orientation day was successfully organized. In the school year 2018-2019, there are nearly 1200 students studying at FFL. This continues to be a successful school year with high enrollment and entrance- qualifying requirements.
